Founders
PrivatCap Oy was founded by Giampaolo Parigi and Tarja Wiklund, who bring complementary backgrounds in finance, leadership and international business.
Tarja Wiklund is a Helsinki-based investor and advisor working across finance, leadership consulting and entrepreneurship. Her practice spans corporate finance, executive search and investment strategy, alongside university lecturing that keeps her work grounded in current research and teaching.
She works with founders, executives and boards on decisions where financial rigor and organisational judgment both matter.
Giampaolo Parigi is a merchant banker with over 35 years' experience as Principal, Partner and Board Member. Over the course of his career he has structured, scaled and exited multiple businesses across maritime and terrestrial infrastructure, mining and energy.
In more than three decades of practice, he has advised on IPO, M&A and private equity transactions totaling billions of dollars across several industry sectors on five continents. Giampaolo is also Co-Principal in a global single family office, with a strong network of international financial institutions, asset managers and investment funds.
